Hey Monkeys,
Have you ever noticed that us, humans are very alive to monkeys, we are very alive in the animal world! And, that is just amazing, right?
There are so many ways that monkeys are like us people, they have opposable thumbs, they eat with their hands, and some monkeys can even communicate with people (not by talking, but by signs and by their actions)
If you love to climb trees, (like Calypspo does) you love to climb trees. This is something many monkeys are known for. MiniMonos Monkeys even live in their own treehouses!
Calyspo found the PERFECT tree today, and had to climb it:
Monkeys love to swing by or hang off trees, swinging by branches or rolling in the grass, or just grooming and taking care of each other!
Monkeys are incredibly intelligent. As I have posted about before, there is actually a monkey who has learned sign language! He's super cool. :-)
Monkeys also use a lot of available resources in their day-to-day lives, just like us humans. They even know how to use some basic tools, unlike nearly every other animal!
Just like monkeys, us humans have parents that take care of us until we are ready to leave home and start our own individual lives, but this may be different for monkeys! Monkeys only have a few years to live with their parents, some monkeys may even start their own lives by just being 2 years with their parents!
Anyways, we are very alive to monkeys, and they are very awesome and smart! They are definitely our closest species of animals in the animal world! Have a great week,monkeys!
