Monkey Fact Monday! Howler Monkeys

Hey Monkeys! :-) It is Monday again....Monkey Fact monday! The monkey who posted this Monkey Fact Monday was....me,Sonic4572! Today we will learn about howler monkeys! They are very loud! Let's check them out!

First of all,they are called Howler Monkeys because they howl to warn different monkeys about predators,or to keep monkeys away from their territory! :-) Their howl can be heard from a mile away! Whoa!

Did you also know that howler monkeys have those type of tails,that are prehensile? They can hold a lot of things (big and small things) from their tail,and also hang from trees with only their tail,if they want to hang from their tail! That is a very strong tail,don't you monkeys think? Something cool about their tail is that it has a fingerprint on the underside of it's tip (in the last part of the tail,there is only skin not fur) Whoa monkeys! Each tail has a pattern of fingerprint! Hehe,I hope you monkeys learned a lot from howler monkeys! I sure did and they are one of my favorite type of monkeys! Hehe! :-)
