Monkey Fact Monday

Hey monkeys! It's Monday again....Monkey Fact Monday! This week's Monkey Fact Monday was posted by Doggy! He taught us all about tigers! It is very interesting! Let's check out more! :-)

The average life span of a tiger is 10-15 years,but they can live up to 20 years if they are adopted or kept in captivity! They are usually independent travelers and hunters! They don't go together to hunt or explore the wild! Their homes or territories can cover up many miles of land! The sad part is that their homes are being destroyed! They can't live and they will die and become extinct! Imagine us with no homes,that would not be good! They also die out because of illegal poaching and hunting to make cloth and using tiger body parts to make materials! That is very sad! :-O Now,the worst part is that two-thirds of the tiger subspecies have already gone extinct! There are only 6 types of tigers remaining! Some of these types are even highly endangered!

Tigers sure are pretty cool,aren't they? That is why we should support them! How would we feel if the tigers go extinct? That will be pretty bad,huh? :-( If you ADORE cats,guess what? Tigers are cats,just the biggest cats in the world! Minimonos is doing their best to help the tigers! I really want to do something for them,and that is why I got my own tiger suit! :-) You should try to get one and help out the tigers! Minimonos and WWF are working REALLY HARD to not let tigers die out! I hope they don't!
